WOW! Just WOW! This natural tanzanite is truly a phenomenal gemstone is every regard, one of those rare gems that has the "it" factor and boy, does it have it in spades. The colours are crazy, there is so much colour packed into this tanzanite it's blows your mind. If a peacock was ever reincarnated as a gemstone, it would be this one. There are blues, teals, purples, greens, yellows and all the wonderful blends that these make together. The pictures only just hint at the amazing beauty that you see when you hold this gem in your hands. When you move it about there is a scintillating kaleidoscopic rainbow dance of colour and life.
You may not be aware that many tanzanites are heated to produce that striking purple blue hue, which is beautiful in it's own right, but sometimes a particular tanzanite will be kept aside from the heating process because someone saw something special. And thank the gods that be that they did with this one. It would have been a real shame if this tanzanite was heated and it's natural parti colours altered.
This tanzanite is definitely one for the collector or anyone who appreciates exceptional gemstones. It would be the centrepiece of any gem collection and one that you will always be sneaking a look at. I can't recommend this natural tanzanite enough. A particularly fine stone.
